On Wednesday, March 15, Civitas Networks for Health members from across the country gathered virtually for our monthly all-member forum, Network News. During this month's meeting, we shared network updates, member highlights, upcoming Civitas programming, and heard from our SDOH and Interoperability Workgroup and Health Data Research Workgroup. Our spotlight presentation featured Karen Johnson, Ph.D., who is the Vice President of Practice Advancement for the American Academy of Family Physicians. Karen highlighted AAFP’s work on advancing value-based payment and discussed the principles detailed in her recent opinion piece coauthored with Dr. Diane Rittenhouse, From Volume to Value: Progress, Rationale, and Guiding Principles.

On Wednesday, Feb. 15, Civitas Networks for Health members from across the country gathered virtually for our monthly all-member forum, Network News. During this month's meeting, we shared network updates, member highlights, Civitas programming, and heard from our Government Relations and Advocacy Council and Digital Measures Workgroup. Our spotlight presentation came from Sara Hallvik, MPH, VP of Data Solutions at Comagine Health, who represents Civitas on the National Quality Forum’s Measure Applications Partnership (MAP) Coordinating Committee.

Member Roundtable: Driving Market Change Through Multi-Stakeholder Collaboration
Thank you to all who were able to join us on Tuesday, September 20 to learn from Civitas member, California Quality Collaborative (CQC) in the third instance of our multi-stakeholder collaboration roundtable series.
During this event, Lindsay Petersen, Senior Director at CQC, presented on their collaborative initiative to advance primary care in California. They just culminated the latest phase of this work focused on multi-payer alignment and commitments to work together through 2025 to further transparency, value-based payment, overall investment and practice transformation.
